Student Holiday Collection: This a reminder that if you would like to give to our student fund to support students that may not have anything this holiday season you can give your money to Laurie Litchfield.
The “Mom on the Go” grilled cheese food truck will be here on Wednesday for box lunches. The cost will be $10 for anyone staff member interested.
Staff Kudos: Would you like to praise and honor a staff member? Send an email to kudos@ssvotech.org and we’ll share it in the Monday Message.

Bathrooms and Lunches - January 2023
To maximize staff and support students in making good decisions we are adjusting a few things.
First - Bathrooms The current faculty bathrooms outside the main office will become student bathrooms. The 100 boys' and 200 wing girls' bathrooms will be closed to students and will be faculty bathrooms only. We will let students and families know. We will also work on appropriate signage adjustments.
Second - The Cafe Mike Clark has offered to allow students to use the gym when they are finished with lunch. Thank you, Mike. If you are regularly or irregularly assigned to the cafe please be sure to find a balance between roaming the room, keeping an eye on the new student bathrooms, and an eye on any students who are eating outside. If you are in the cafe and 3 people are assigned to cover, the 3rd staff member should take the block to monitor the hall between the cafe and the 300 wing bathroom.
Holiday Party Reminder - Please do not schedule holiday celebrations in your shops or classrooms. There should be no outside food in classrooms or shops at any time.
Academic PLC’s - Please focus on the 2023-24 schedule, including honor’s course placements and schedule needs/wants. Note: there will be no new courses next year.
Sophomore Focus Groups: Please see this Sheet for a list of sophomores who will be invited to participate in focus groups on grading during Period 9 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. If you need to work with a student on a day they’re scheduled for a focus group, let John Scop. know, and he’ll be sure the kid goes to you.
