Covid-19 Protocols - A reminder that we have not changed any of our protocols relating to Covid-19. We have a large portion of our community who is not vaccinated and we need to adhere to the guidelines that have been so successful all year.  This means wearing of masks that fully cover your nose & mouth at all times, keeping windows open for air circulation, and keeping student desks at the 3 foot distance in the classroom and 6 foot in the cafe and gym.  Thank you everyone.

Senior Sign Out - The class of 2021 will be signing out of school over the next few weeks.

  • Please review the Senior Sign Out document that was shared last week.
    • Students will turn in any materials on Thursday, but still will have class on Friday.
  • A major part of this process is identifying what school items: tools, tech, texts, uniforms does the student still have or need to make restitution.  Please use this spreadsheet when the time comes to mark the items by department or athletic team and the cost of said item. Students are listed by shop.

MCAS Testing - We have students, sophomores and juniors, who need to complete the ELA portion of MCAS this week.  They will be starting this on Tuesday morning, They will go to shop to take attendance and then head to the main office to take the test. We will share the list on Monday morning when it is finalized.

From the Vocational Office:

This past week the Graphic Communication/ Design Visual Communication shop held its Senior Art Show. Each of the nine seniors displayed their personalized artwork that they created throughout their four years at SST. The show was very successful, a job well done to the seniors! A special thanks to Mrs. Paradis, Mrs. Rutkowski and Mr. Culp for organizing and hosting the event!

Co-op Updates:
It's been a successful year for the Cooperative Education Program! We currently have 120 active co-op students and a total of 131 students were placed over the course of the school year. We've seen an unprecedented interest in the program from employers and our job board is getting a lot of interest from local businesses. Please direct your students to the job board if you know they are looking for employment.

On Thursday, May 20th at 1:45pm, we will be hosting an ice cream party for active co-op seniors. They will be dismissed directly following the event.
