Happy Mom's day to one and all!
Everything MCAS - We will be administering the ELA MCAS test on Monday and Wednesday morning to the 10th graders and a select number of 11th graders who self-identified.
- Due to the testing window, there will be no morning meeting on these days.
- MCAS Schedule - Vocational staff should pay attention to:
- No underclass pullout into academic classrooms
- Upper class remote classes will be from 1:51 to 2:25 pm
- MCAS Proctor/Student Assignments
- MCAS How-to
- MCAS Screencast
FAQs -
- Students need to use the same Chromebook for both parts of a session. If the WiFi goes down, answers are stored on individual devices.
- Students will be in the same location for both the ELA and Math tests.
- Testing materials will be available after 7:15 in the main office. Paraprofessionals should come in for 7:30 on these days and please reflect it on your time card.
- Most students who are Remote Learners in academics, are being dismissed to be driven home to join their 1st block class remotely. Please understand when they are late to class.
- Breaks -
- You can give breaks if you choose, preferably no more than 5 minutes, and in the classroom. Students need to keep their masks on because they can not be more than 6 ft. apart.
- We will be providing a snack to students that will be delivered around 10:00 am. Once again, students should not be eating in classrooms, but if the weather is palatable you can take your students outside at the end of the session window when we are collecting materials.
- When in doubt, ask! Laurie and Mark will be manning ext. 444
From the Vocational Office:
Senior Exit Survey: Please encourage your seniors to complete their senior exit survey. We will provide a list of students who have not yet done so on Monday. The link to the survey has been emailed to all seniors.
