From the desk of the Principal, Mark

NEASC, April 23-25th:
1. We are almost there.
2. A 3-person team will be in and about the building.
3. Voluntary meeting on April 25th after school to hear report highlights.

SkillsUSA State Competition Day, April 26th:
I was asked about logistics for this date. I wish I could give you more at this time, but the admin team is waiting on details from SkillsUSA. I can tell you what the team's discussions are centering around.

1. There are different venues--Keefe Tech, Blackstone Valley & Marlboro--for different trades. We are working on a rotating schedule that will maximize your time.on this day.

2. Transportation -- Parking is very tight, especially at BVT. We are working on a number of different options including school mini-buses, a charter bus or allowing staff who would wish to do so to drive themselves. (No reimbursement)

3. Food -- We are looking at a number of options here as well including a picnic lunch from Panera or lunch on your own. This depends on, in part, on your location at lunch.

You are saying, "Mark, you have told us nothing definitive. Is there anything definitive you can tell us?"

I am nodding in agreement as I type, "Yes, we will not leave school until after the school day starts and we will return before the school day is over." (This is no joke.)

From the desk of the Assistant Principal, Sandy

Friendly Reminders:  April Vacation is fast approaching

Discipline starts in the classroom, everyone should review their classroom expectations with your students.  All are anxiously looking towards a week off. This refresher may help what happens in your classroom for the better.

Students who've been sent out of the classroom may be getting exactly what they are looking for.  The difficulty is finding the balance. We are here to support you and we will.

Remember what we all put in an email, is public record.  Read it twice before hitting the send button. Helps with spelling errors too!!!! (Personally speaking)
