Exploratory Wrap-up (speaking in my inner Amy Dow voice)
Exploratory 7 will run from December 10-17. We ask that you submit your grades for E7 before you leave on Friday, December 14th. Don't worry - I'll shoot you reminder as the day gets closer. This way, we can begin calculating the students exploratory score.
On December 14th, I will send home a survey (and do a ConnectEd to parents) asking the student to pick his/her top 4 choices. This is due back to me by Monday, December 17.
Crystal will run calculations and we will place students in shops on Monday and Tuesday and (hopefully) give the students their placement letters on Wednesday, December 19th.
We plan to do this the same way as last year - call them out of Period 1 academic classes and hand them an envelope.
Friday, January 4th will be the students first day in Shop

As we start the month of December many of us look forward to the Holiday Break and a much-deserved vacation. So to do our students who have been in school now for the past 3 months. Please remember that they are as anxious, if not more than we are. Keeping your students engaged will help keep them focused and out of the Vocational Office.
