PD during 11/16 delayed start: Our PD time on Wednesday will center on equity-focused grading practices that are already being used at SST. After a very brief overview in the lecture hall, you’ll have two opportunities to see how SST teachers have changed the ways they grade this year. Student Focus Groups: Please see this Sheet for a list of students who will be invited to participate in focus groups on grading during Period 9 on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. If you need to work with a student on a day they’re scheduled for a focus group, let John Scop. know, and he’ll be sure the kid goes to you.
Field Trips - Please remember if you are going on a field trip to put in for the day as a field trip day in the attendance portal. This helps us plan coverage. Thank you
Special Education Team Meeting Process
-A Google Invitation is shared with ALL of the students' teachers. This should prompt ALL of you to do an Educational Assessment B in Power School Special Populations at least 3 days in ADVANCE of the Team meeting. The Educational Assessment is a public document and will be shared at the Team meeting.
-The Google Invitation will state if you are DESIGNATED to attend. This means you have to attend the meeting. Please come to the Student Services conference room to join the meeting or join in a quiet place with your own device.
-You MUST stay for the ENTIRE duration of the meeting unless the parent/guardian gives permission for you to leave the meeting.
-If you can not attend the meeting then you must let Katie Berry and Nancy Fitzgibbon know in ADVANCE. The parent has to approve your absence. If they do not approve your absence then the Team meeting will be rescheduled.
The Team Chair facilitates the meeting. You will be asked to speak about how the student is doing in your class and how you support the student in your setting. Please read the students accommodations and plan to be sure you are ready to discuss your role in delivering the IEP.

Vocational Shops: Please be aware that on Tuesday 11/15 from 6:30am to approximately 9:00am the compressor will be turned off due to routine maintenance. Please adjust your lessons accordingly.
