Staff Appreciation Week - We will be celebrating everyone's role in making this the dynamic educational institution it is all week.
Monday, May 2nd, Support Staff Recognition Day (Administrative Assistants, Bus Drivers, Maintenance, and Paraprofessionals)
Tuesday, May 3rd - Teacher Recognition Day
- Staff/Teacher Appreciation Lunch in the teacher's room
- provided by the district.
- Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Caesar Salad, cookies, water, and soda.
Wednesday, May 4th - Coffee/pastry in the Brass Lantern
- provided by the Parent's Association
Thursday, May 5th, Staff/Teacher Appreciation Lunch in the teacher's room
- provided by Mama Mia's and Mother Ana's.
Friday, May 6th, Cafeteria Staff and Nurse Appreciation Day
Saturday School, May 21st - Laurie has already sent letters to students who are failing 2 or more classes. There are about 50 students on that list, so we won't be inviting more until we get declined invitations. This week, Laurie will share the list of invited students, please provide her with assignment information via email and she will update the sheet.
The student handbook is due for annual revision. If you are interested in serving on the committee I will be offering before and after school opportunities for committee meetings. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please reply to the email. If you can not make the meetings and have suggestions for changes to the handbook please add them to the attached spreadsheet.
All recommendations will be reviewed by the committee and changes agreed upon will be presented at the May school committee meeting on May 18th.
