Staff end-of-year survey - Once again, it is the time to give your input on the school in the areas of facility, daily operations, technology and anything else you feel is appropriate. GC/DVC Senior Show - Thursday, May, 12th, 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the 300 wing. Please stop by and see these students' amazing work.
Recruitment Video Footage- Zach will be in on Monday 5/9 throughout the day to re-shoot the B-Roll film in the shops for the school's new recruitment video. As always please make sure students are on task and wearing appropriate PPE.
Vocational Summer Camps- Vocational summer camp registrations are open. If you know a rising 6th, 7th, or 8th-grade student in or out of the district please pass along the link for registration located here. For programs running camps, budget information will be provided in the upcoming weeks.
Student IRCs: We will be collecting IRC percentages from every shop on Monday, May 16th. Please make sure that all student industry-recognized credentials are recorded in PowerSchool by Friday, May 13th. Here are the instructions on how to do so.
300 Wing Window Project: As the school year starts to wrap up, please note that the window replacement project in the 300 wing will start right after the last day of school. Please make sure window counters are cleared off and there is clearance of approximately 4 feet out from the window.
Doors: Over the past few weeks we have been finding students sneaking into the back of shops to avoid being late for class and also sneaking out a couple minutes early. Please make sure you are vigilant about what is going on at the beginning and end of classes the same way you do during the day.
SkillsUSA: Thank you to all the staff for their support in helping our students prepare for the State Conferences the past couple of weeks. We will not know the results of all the hard work till May 13th but we are confident in bringing home many medals!!!
Chalkfest: A reminder this great community event had happening this upcoming Saturday, May 14th, in front of the school. You still have time to get a square to create your own Mona Lisa or "Happy Little Trees," whichever way your artist's blood flows.
