One fundraiser down, one to go!

Thank you again for all those who supported and participated last Saturday's Left Center Right fundraiser for the students and staff going on the service trip in early April. The results went far beyond expectation as they raised over $2700.00 to offset trip costs.

On Saturday, April 6th, the Parent's Association's Cabin Fever event will be held from 7 to 11 PM at the Emerald Hall in Abington. This is the PA's big fundraiser for the school year and they could use our support. Tickets are $15pp or $100 for a table of 10. I have tickets available at the main office.
  • This year's door prize is a pair of Adirondack chairs built by Carpentry. I also want to thank the other shops that have donated materials or services including Automotive, Culinary, Metal Fab, Horticulture and Cosmetology.

From the desk of the Vocational Coordinators (Keith Boyle, Bob Foley)

SkillsUSA: As we prepare for the State Competition, there are many ways we can help support the students.

Once all the contestants are finalized, Lisa B. will share the list with staff.  Letting the students know you care by wishing them luck goes a long way in motivating themselves to prepare for the event.

Go Vikings !!!

Discipline: The birds are chirping, the days are getting longer spring is definitely in the air.  April Vacation is a few weeks away, so students are anxious. We all need to hold the line with discipline, but please be aware of what may be going on with your students.

If they are playing a spring sport, reach out to the coaches and share with them what’s going on in your classroom.  Stop by and catch some of their games, if their away game is near your home that is a plus plus.

Catch the school play and let the drama students know you care.

The difference may be the way they behave in your classroom !!
