Kudos to the horticulture team: Tom, Cassie, and Mike for having 2 teams qualify for nationals at FFA. 1st place in the Floriculture CDE, and 1st place in the Nursery and Landscape CDE both teams have qualified for nationals and will be representing Massachusetts in Indianapolis this October. This team has worked diligently over the past 5 years to build an exciting shop that has a waiting list, outdoor learning, and students that can compete and win! Congratulations to them and we wish them well in Indianapolis this summer!!

Grading Changes and the Handbook: The changes to our grading system for 2023-2024 have been incorporated into the proposed handbook language that will be reviewed at the Handbook Committee meeting on Thursday, 4/27, after school in the IT conference room. As Mark mentioned in an earlier Monday Message, please let Laurie Litchfield know by Monday, 4/25, if you are interested in serving on this committee.
PDPs for Grading Work: John Scop’s working with Laurie to get a posting in Teach Point for all teachers to earn 20 PDPs for the work they’ve done this year discussing, designing, and preparing for next year’s grading system. More info to come!
