Principal's Corner
Hallway Passes - We can not hand out hallway passes to students. Students have tried to get a pack for themselves under the guise of grabbing it for a teacher. If you need a book or two of passes, please send an adult up to the main office or come up yourself.
Econoline Vans - When you use an Econoline van, please be sure to make sure you fill the gas tank if it is below 1/3 of a tank when you return it. The gas cards are available in the main office.
Shop Safety - Over the next two cycles please reconfirm with your students the basic shop safety including the proper wearing of safety glasses, clothing, and being aware of safety devices such as, but not limited to: the eyewash station, fire extinguishers & blankets, and safety switches.
Failing Students - I began meeting with 11th graders last week but will be prioritizing 12th graders this week while they are in academics. Once again, the majority of these will be short 5 minute meetings. Thank you for your cooperation.

Vocational PLCs - Keith and Sandy will be stopping into Vocational PLCs this week to talk about the Proficiency Standard Trackers.
Student IRCs - As students are beginning to complete their OSHA-10 certifications, this is just a reminder to record all of your student’s IRCs in PowerSchool. Instructions

SkillsUSA Dates - Please keep these dates in mind when planning for class assessments.
April 14th is Leadership competition in person
April 29th in person Competition at BVT
May 13th all students who placed at Districts and States will be in Marlboro for an awards ceremony.
Work Boots - Shop instructors please let your students know that Cowboy boots do not offer the same protection as work boots. We have seen a trendy uptick in students wearing these boots while in the shop. The handbook specifically states work boots.
