Bah FUNbug! Thank you to our own little holiday elf, Lisa Bellantoni, for arranging a nice community kick-off event to the holiday season to see our own Gerry Bova as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at the Community Theatre in Norwell. We are sorry illness kept Lisa away, but thank you all the staff and their spouses, fiancés, girlfriends, significant others and children who came out for the show. There is still time to catch the show as it runs Thursday thru Sunday over the next two weeks. If you look closely your will see Holly Ditchfield's son Sam Groll playing a young Bob Marley as well.
Skills USA Holiday Party: Next Saturday, December 11th, from approximately 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, the SkillsUSA group will be hosting their annual Christmas party at South Shore for some very deserving children. If you have a moment please stop by for some merriment and see the true joy on children's faces. I've been told that Santa Claus is on the mend and will be ready take make her annual appearance as well.
Covid Protocols (In the cold weather) - A reminder that due to Covid-19 protocols including the opening of classroom windows, students will be allowed to wear skull caps and baseball caps backwards through April. Once again, hoodies are still not allowed.
Senior Privilege - We are moving toward a senior privilege that would allow 12th graders who have an 80 or higher in all their classes to leave school during 9th period DIRECTED STUDY. Students, of course, would still be required to attend related, co-op gym and senior seminar classes. This would begin on Monday, December 13th, with information going home to parents tonight.
Co-op & Attendance - Please make sure co-op students are marked COOP for every day they are out.
