The School Council will continue their work on Monday at 3:00 PM in the SSS conference room.
The Annual Alumni Day will take place on Friday from approximately 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Academic instructors can expect not to see their senior students during this time period. We are in the process of finalizing graduates and will get everyone a better schedule in the coming day or two. If you are in contact with a graduate with some, but not too much life experience (4-10 year grads), please feel free to invite them. Be sure to put them in contact with Paul Bello to confirm.
Saturday School is January 18th. Letters will be sent to the parent/guardian of students failing 2-or more classes making the strong suggestion that they attend. If you have a student who is at risk, please feel free to let their parent/guardian know that support is available from 8:00 am in the CCC with pick up promptly at 11:00 am. Any questions? Ask Sandy.
Monday Meditation 7:20 CCC - interested in trying meditation? Join Monday Meditation weekly from 7:20-7:30 in the CCC. All welcome. Begins 1/6.
Positivity Videos - We are seeking faculty members to take the lead in coordinating positivity videos. See samples on the archived videos on SST's FB page. It's a fairly easy and VERY rewarding role. Sandy can provide more details in person.
Pineapple Charting - Teaching can be a lonely profession and one of the best ways to learn is by watching fellow practitioners. Please send an email to teachers and administrators when you want to invite us in to watch a lesson. If you'd like to post a pineapple poster, that would be a great reminder for all who walk by. Sandy would be happy to provide signage. Feel free to share lessons after the fact too! Send an email with the lesson, an exemplar, and even some images.
Professional Development: Kick off the new year by challenging yourself to share your talents and interests with likeminded staff. See any administrator for details on how to get started on developing a professional development project at SST.

All programs: please meet in SSS or Greenroom for all scheduled meeting (unless other locations/plans are approved). This allows your program manager to easily find and support you during your meeting time.

Vocational Student of the Year - Do you have a nomination? One student from SST to be celebrated at MAVA. Nominations will be reviewed and a final selection will be made by the principal's office before the end of January.
