There will be a Faculty Council meeting this Thursday after school. Topic for discussion is a development of a rubric to identify the faculty and staff person of the month. All are welcome
Service Trip Trivia Fundraiser: A reminder that a week from Friday, March 13th, we will be hosting a trivia fundraiser at the Rockland Eagles at 7:00 PM. Beyond trivia and bragging rights there will also be raffles. All proceeds go to help fund the 25 students who are going to Houston in April.
Tickets are $15 and we hope to see all of you there!
Hands Free Law: I know, you're throwing up your hands wondering what is this doing in the Monday Message. Well, it's all about me. I like to think of myself as a rule follower and this new law is wrought with danger for me due to morning call ins. I know that in the faculty handbook you have until 6:15 AM to call in sick for the day, but I am asking in all cases except extreme emergencies if you could please call in prior to 6:00 AM for my own safety, rule following mentality and pocket book. This would be much appreciated. You can put your hands down now.
From the Vocational Office:
- The Spring Advisory invitation will go out on Monday, March 2nd. Please make any changes/updates to your shop's list by noon. The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 2nd. Dinner will be served at 6:30 in the cafeteria, and the program will begin at 7pm.
- It has been brought to our attention that the white PVC gate by the mods has been left open during the day. If you're in that area, please make sure it is always locked. We appreciate the help in keeping the building safe and secure during the day.
- As of 2/28/20, there are 66 seniors and 19 juniors approved for co-op! Please remember to mark the attendance of students signed out on co-op accordingly.
