From the Main Office:
ALICE Training: We will be continuing the ALICE implementation process with two meetings with students this week. We will be meeting on Tuesday afternoon at about 2:10 PM with the seniors for a refresher. (We are aware that this is out of class time, but it is still our best option for this brief meeting.) On Thursday, we will be meeting at 2 PM with the sophomores. This will be a little longer discussion hence the extended window of time. In both cases, we will call the students down to the gym prior to the meeting.
Restroom Usage: Please take a moment with each class/shop and remind them as to what restroom they should be using from your location. We have been finding students beginning to "wander" to other locales.
Faculty Council: There will be a faculty council meeting in the Allied Health Shop immediately after school on Thursday. First topic discussed will be the 9th Period/Electives.
John & Abigail Adams Scholarship Winners: We will have a celebration during 9th period on Friday for the approximate 40 seniors who have earned this scholarship. This is a surprise for the students, so SHH! is the word.

Paraprofessionals will be used to proctor and will be notified this week. Teachers, please plan accordingly in case they are unavailable during your class and/or reach out to Katie with any concerns.
Tour season has begun! Amy and her tour team will be by on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons.
Winter athletic eligibility is next week. Please remind students that coaches will look at grades very soon.
Please remember to use the period 9/directed study email request procedure. This is a form that is viewed regularly to collect data and see how often students are requested from teachers.
